“Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." 1 Cor. 2:9

WELCOME !  If you're reading this site, obviously you are a friend; please take a moment to light a candle, leave your thoughts with some encouraging & uplifting words for family and other readers to enjoy.  Abundant blessings to you.

Thank you for checking in from time to time; you will never know how much that means to empty hearts.  Please take time to leave a note to show your 'visit'.  Abundant blessings to you for your thoughtfulness; you're special people.

This memorial website was created to remember our precious son and brother, Randy Lynn Rozell.  Born 13 July 1958 in Battle Creek, Michigan ; leaving this life to live in glory with our heavenly father on 26 October 2009.

NOTE:  You will see many photos in the gallery of Randy's best buddy, his baby boy, Joshua ("Joshy" to family).  Randy loved this little guy more than anything else and literally gave up everything he had to give for him.  He would be proud, and we know he's watching as this beautiful little boy's joyous, contagious smile reflects his daddy's temperment and easy-going good nature.   Joshy can grow and walk tall knowing his daddy loved him so much.

Randy was a tender spirit,  never condescending in how he cared for everyone.  Never accepting praise proudly, a  gentle smile  triggering  a twinkle in his eyes that showed genuine appreciation.   Though Randy loved to have fun, it was usually at his own expense with an infectious laugh.  Randy has only one child, Joshua, born July 2002.  He loved his little Joshy more than anything else in life.

We pray that you would visit often and leave your thoughts, memories and pictures as a living memorial to Randy and so Joshua, who was only 7 when his best friend and safety-net had to leave him;  will come to know his father through our stories of our beloved son, brother and friend.

Randy, we miss you son, you will always have a voice in us and now we can say with expectant hearts: “Heaven is sweeter than ever before and we can’t wait to get there!”   Love from home,  Mom, Dad, Rob and your baby boy Joshy.

The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.“ Psalm 18:2

CHRISTMAS 2014:  Another year has passed, life has gone on day after day for us, and yet the longing to see you has never faded. Perhaps our lives echo just a smither of what life is in the Heavens where you are now...where only God Himself can see the pain we carry and enable us to exist until we join you there.  We strive so hard for words for others, yet no words can we find for how we ourselves feel.  You were a good man son and we miss you!

CHRISTMAS 2015:  Here's another year, son, life meets challenges day after day, physical healings come; yet, the pain and brokenness of heart of your having to leave us, continues.  Not true what man is so prone to easily say, I may have said it myself to others over the years. Time does not heal all wounds. I've grown used to the pain; I respect it as my love for you that will never heal...nor fade. To do so would just not be 'your mom'. You're missed as always son; holidays, and especially your love for Christmas will never fade...nor  will the 'empty chair' you left behind.  'The reason for the season' holds you in His bosom.
