Dad's Love
Ran, the other night Dad was standing out front looking upward to a dark sky. He softly said "Mom, I miss my son".  We gave a deep sigh of loneliness, hugged and looked up together; one bright star was breaking the darkness.  If that was not your star all alone up there saying "I do you too" ...then it was our creator Himself  saying you're okay.  In nights since, we are always seeing one star brighter than the others and know you are there.  We miss you son; you live within us.  You are a bright star in the darkness.

Ran, You are not gone nor forgotten.. You are alive within us. I carry part of you. I am so blessed to be part of your wonderful loving family.   To my precious Aunt June and Uncle Bob. As your favorite book says.. Be Still and Know that he is God!  Non of us will live one day longer then he wants us too. So lets Celebrate Randy and all he meant and means to us!

26 October 2011:  Our hearts are thankful for faithful friends in Cabo for the lovely bouquet of rememberance for our son; he loved Cabo and its people, of whom he always spoke with pride.  Surely heaven opens its portals to receive your thoughtfulness as praise to the Father; bless you all abundantly.

Well son another year has passed and you never leave our hearts and thoughts; still seems like only yesterday we hear your "hello family!"   May you rest in peace and be ready when we get there.  The world hungers for someone to love them as we love and carry you in our hearts.  As has become our most supportive thought in yearning to hear you once again.."You're only a breath away".   We will be together again son.  Love you.

Hello June, I don't know if you remember anything about me but Randy & I met when I moved into a apartment on Voltare Street in Ocean Beach in July of 79. In fact we met on his 21st birthday at a neigbhors unit next door. We were together when he got his 1st job as a deck hand on a boat. He would talk to me about you, his dad and his brother and what a wonderful childhood he had. Even thou I hadn't seen or talked to Randy since the mid 90's he has always been in my thoughts and I have wonderful memories of our short time together. My heart goes out to you, your family and his son
